Rollin Slattery

Rollin Slattery was born and raised in Mineville, New York, a few miles up Route 9N from our Ticonderoga shop. He is a veteran of the United States Army, where he served as a Military Police officer, and he spent more than 30 years as a self-employed contractor running his own business before joining Adirondack Heat Pumps.

That background matters on a heat pump job. Thirty years of contracting in Essex County means Rollin knows how the houses here are built: the 1800s village homes in Port Henry and Westport, the camps on Lake Champlain and Schroon Lake, the farmhouses with stone foundations and the newer builds up toward Keene. He knows where the line sets can run, where the condenser should sit so the roof does not dump on it, and what the wind does on the lake side of a house in January.

As Operations Manager, Rollin keeps the North Country schedule moving: estimates, installs, service calls, parts and the crews that carry them out. As a Mitsubishi Certified Preferred Comfort Consultant he also meets homeowners in person to measure, size and quote systems. A customer who installed mini-splits in a first home in 2026 wrote that Rollin, Mark and Matt “worked with us to make sure we had the right system for our home” and praised the team's professionalism and expertise.

Outside of work Rollin enjoys fishing, following sports and time with his family and grandchildren.

What Rollin does for Adirondack Heat Pumps customers

Rollin oversees the operations side of every Adirondack Heat Pumps job from the Ticonderoga office, which means the schedule you are given is one he intends to keep. On estimates he brings a contractor's eye to the house itself, not just the equipment, so the design accounts for how your home was built and how it holds heat.

Mitsubishi certification

Rollin is a Mitsubishi Certified Preferred Comfort Consultant. Adirondack Heat Pumps is a Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Contractor ELITE, graded every year to keep that status, and ongoing factory training for the whole team is part of what the grade is based on. It is also what lets us register the 12-year Mitsubishi parts warranty on every system we install.
