What happens after you reach out

  1. We call you back

Within one business day, usually sooner. We ask a few questions about the house, the fuel you heat with now and what is bothering you about your comfort.

  2. Free in-home visit

A comfort consultant measures, looks at insulation and your fuel bills, and walks the rooms with you. Bring your questions; this is the time to ask them.

  3. Written price, rebates applied

You get an exact price for your home with your NYS Clean Heat or Efficiency Vermont rebate already shown, plus 0% financing if you want it. We file the rebate paperwork.

  4. Install day

Our own crew, usually one day for a single zone and two to three for whole-home. We register the warranty and show you the controls before we leave.

Contact questions

Is the estimate really free?

Yes. A comfort consultant visits your home, measures, reviews your fuel bills and gives you a written price with rebates applied. No charge and no obligation. If a heat pump is not the right answer for your house, we will say so.

What if I call at night or on a weekend?

The same number, (518) 812-1958, is answered 24 hours a day. After hours our assistant takes your name, address and what is going on, and the office calls you back first thing the next business morning. For a no-heat emergency, say so and we prioritize the callback.

Do you charge a trip fee for service calls?

Service and repair visits are billed at our posted rates; see maintenance pricing. Adirondack Shield Elite Care Plan members get $0 covered repairs and 24-hour priority scheduling.

Can I get a price over the phone?

We can give you a range, and the savings calculator gives you a modeled number in two minutes. An exact price needs a visit, because zones, line-set runs, electrical and whether you have ducts all change it.

Do you work in Vermont?

Yes. We serve Addison County across the lake, including Middlebury, Vergennes, Bridport, Shoreham, Orwell and Addison, and we file Efficiency Vermont rebates.

“We had Mark, Rolland, and Matt help get mini splits installed in our first home. They worked with us to make sure we had the right system for our home. This team provided amazing professionalism, customer service, and expertise!”

★★★★★

“Been doing business with Gerry and his crew for close to 10 years and always totally satisfied with their product and customer service.”

★★★★★

“This is our second Mitsubishi heat pump … to heat the 30x40 insulated metal building with a single head we put up but handles it great. … they had to order and install the system in a little over 2 weeks to get it done by 12/31 to qualify for a large rebate and they got it done.”
