Mark Sauter

Mark Sauter is the North Zone Comfort Consultant for Adirondack Heat Pumps, and for most homeowners in the Adirondacks he is the first person they talk to. He handles in-home estimates across the northern half of our territory, from Ticonderoga and the Champlain Valley up through Elizabethtown, Keene, Wilmington, Lake Placid and Saranac Lake, and out to camps in places like Newcomb.

The reviews tell his story better than we can. A customer who had two mini-splits installed in 2025 wrote that contact “started with Mark Sauter. He returned my initial contact right away and set up the field visit,” and that the job “turned out beautifully.” A couple who put heat pumps in their cabin in Newcomb said the whole process was smooth and that they could not get over how quiet the system is. Another reviewer in 2024: “We could not be more pleased with Mark Sauter, ADK Heat Pumps, and Josh and Matt, the two techs who did our install.”

Mark's job does not end at the sale. Because every system we install can be managed through the Mitsubishi Comfort app, he is often able to help existing customers without a truck roll. In January 2026 a customer with a temperature issue on one head wrote that Mark “was extremely responsive, got back to us within minutes” and was “able to diagnose and fix the issue remotely without needing a site visit.”

On an estimate, Mark measures the house, looks at insulation and your current fuel, runs the load calculation and walks through which indoor unit style fits each room. He explains the NYS Clean Heat rebate tiers, confirms what you qualify for and lays out 0% financing, then hands you a written price with everything applied.

What Mark does for Adirondack Heat Pumps customers

If you live north of Ticonderoga, Mark is almost certainly the consultant who will visit. Expect a fast callback, a visit that takes the house seriously, and a quote that already includes your rebate. After the install, he is the person customers text when a zone is acting up, and he can often fix it from his phone.

Mitsubishi certification

Mark is a Mitsubishi-trained Comfort Consultant. Adirondack Heat Pumps is a Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Contractor ELITE, graded every year to keep that status, and ongoing factory training for the whole team is part of what the grade is based on. It is also what lets us register the 12-year Mitsubishi parts warranty on every system we install.
